Home of Good Hope was founded in September 2007 and registered as a Section 21 company on 7 September 2015, situated in Goreangab informal settlement area, providing nutrition, health, pre-school, after school care and homework support services to 800+ at-risk children, as well as healthcare and nutritional support to their parents, and an opportunity to improve their earning capacity through the Adult Education Programme. Home of Good Hope is set on following the Guidelines set out by the World Health Organisation in the provision of services.

Home of Good Hope has been granted for purchase a piece of land from the Municipality, Monica Street Erf 87, which has been approved by council. We are commencing with building a facility which is in full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements, will further safeguard the health of the children, will be as environmentally sustainable as possible and will allow a broader focus for the entire community to benefit from educational and social activities in the evenings and weekends.
